chester-fluted-rectangle-dining-table-walnut-veneer
Chester Fluted Rectangle Dining Table - Walnut Veneer

A 200cm rectangular dining table with a travertine-look sintered stone top, softly rounded corners, and a fluted walnut-finish pedestal finished with a gold stainless steel band.

The rectangular Chester is the family-and-guests version of the range: two metres of travertine-look stone that seats six every night and eight when the table is full. The corners are rounded rather than square, which does two quiet things — it softens the table in a room full of straight lines, and it means nobody catches a hip on the way past. The sintered stone top has the warm, matte look of light travertine with the toughness everyday family dining needs.

Beneath it, the fluted pedestal in a rich walnut finish runs as a single central column rather than four legs, so every seat — including the two at the ends — has clear space underneath. A slim stainless steel band in a gold finish sits where the pedestal meets the floor, lifting the walnut and echoing gold-legged dining chairs. Travertine tones, walnut and gold: warm, contemporary, and a step away from the usual marble-and-black.

Will it fit your room?

At 200cm × 100cm the Chester seats six with generous elbow room (three a side) and eight when you add a chair at each end. Allow 90cm of clear floor on every side so chairs can be pulled out and walked behind — a space of about 3.8m × 2.8m is the comfortable minimum. The pedestal base makes it easier to seat eight than a four-leg table of the same length, because no chair has to straddle a leg.

Why the Chester works

Travertine-look sintered stone top — the warm, softly textured look of light travertine in a dense sintered stone that stands up to heat, spills and daily use far better than natural stone.

Rounded corners — softer in the room and kinder to hips, without losing the seating of a true rectangle.

Fluted walnut-finish pedestal — vertical fluting adds shadow and rhythm; the single column leaves every seat unobstructed.

Gold-finish stainless steel band — a slim metal ring at the foot of the pedestal that matches gold-legged dining chairs.

Seats six to eight — a weeknight table that hosts a dinner party.

Delivered as a top and a base — the stone top and walnut-finish pedestal arrive separately and are brought together in place.

Specifications

Dimensions
200cm (L) × 100cm (W) × 76cm (H)

Seats
6–8

Top
Light travertine-look sintered stone, rounded corners

Base
Fluted pedestal in walnut finish with a gold-finish stainless steel band

Colours
Light travertine-look top; walnut base

Shape
Rectangular

Care
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry; use coasters and placemats and wipe spills promptly.
