CLAIM PROCEDURE

NOTE: ALL CLAIMS MUST BE LODGED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING THE GOODS
  • Please unpack all goods & inspect for any damages.
  • If damage has occured please email Elegant Collections Accounts Team

at accounts@elegantcollections.com.au with as much details possible of what damage has occured and include photos. All orders are insured,

  • Please keep all original packaging so that the item can be collected
  • If the insurance company does not wish the damaged item to be collected, buyer will be informed by the team to dispose the items. Buyer will be responsible for disposing off the damaged item(s).

 

Warranty Claim:

  • The warranty is valid for domestic and residential use only and is not valid for commercial use.
  • The warranty does not cover any kind of transportation charges. It will be the customers responsibility to transport the product to the assigned repair facility or distribution warehouse. We may assist in providing a 3rd transport carrier for the picking and returning of the product at the customer’s expense. 
  • The warranty may not cover in-house repair.
  • The warranty is valid for the original purchaser and not transferrable. Purchases for gifting are valid for the warranty from the original purchase date provided proof of purchase is supplied and the claim is made by the original purchaser.
  • The warranty applies only to furniture that has been assembled, cared for, cleaned and otherwise maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied by the goods.
  • Normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.
  • Damage caused by mistreatment, incorrect cleaning, cleaning materials, applications, or animals, is not covered by the warranty.
  • Damage caused by soiling, dye, paint, and body fluids is not covered by the warranty.
  • Fading or damage caused by exposure to direct sunlight and heat sources, or brightly lit environments is not covered by the warranty.
  • Damage incurred during transport is not covered by the warranty.
  • Repairs and alterations to the product which are not performed by Elegant Collections or its authorised agents will void the warranty.
  • Natural timber products have unique characteristics created by the environment. Variations in grain and colour are not a manufacturing fault but a direct result of the variability of that natural environment. 
  • Metal or steel products that are joint with welding is not considered a manufacturing fault.
  • Steel / polished steel / electroplated products must be cleaned with only water and a microfibre cloth. Using cleaning chemicals could strip / damage the electroplating / steel product and will not be covered under warranty. 
  • Marble / Stone is unique and will contain variations in shade, markings and swirls / veins are the characteristics of the product.
  • Seat foams and padding will naturally soften and lose shape over time, leather and fabric covers will crease in accordance with usage. 
  • Armrests and backrests are not designed to be sat on which may cause damage to the frame. Incorrect usage is not covered by warranty. 

    Sofa (Madeline Range): 12 months Structural Warranty & 12 Months Foam and Stitching.

    Sofa (Grand Lounge, William, Hamilton, Plush, Cleo, Mornington & Chesterfield): 24 months Structural Warranty and 12 Months Foam and Stitching.

    Beds, Console Tables, Coffee Tables, Side Tables, Dining Table / Chairs, Buffets, Barstools, Clocks (mechanism), Lamps (Electrical), Home Decor, Shelving and all other items in-store not listed above: 12 months Structural Warranty
