A 50cm round side table with a travertine-look sintered stone top on a fluted walnut-finish drum, finished with a gold stainless steel band.
The smallest piece in the Chester range is the one that finishes the most rooms. Beside a sofa or an armchair it is the lamp table, the coffee-cup table, the place the book goes; beside a bed it is a bedside with more presence than a drawer unit. The fluted walnut-finish drum, gold-finish stainless steel band and light travertine-look stone top are the coffee table in miniature, so the two can share a living room without either competing.
At 50cm across and 60cm high it lands at the height of most sofa and armchair arms, which is the height a side table should be — a drink set down without reaching, a lamp at reading height. Buy one for the end of a sofa or a pair to flank a bed.
The 60cm height suits sofas and armchairs with arms between 55 and 65cm high, and works as a bedside for beds with a mattress top around 55 to 65cm. The 50cm diameter takes a table lamp and a glass comfortably. As a pair either side of a bed or a sofa, it gives the room symmetry without the bulk of two cabinets.
Travertine-look sintered stone top — the warm look of light travertine in a dense sintered stone that shrugs off hot mugs and spills.
Fluted walnut-finish drum — a solid base with vertical fluting; no legs, nothing to catch.
Gold-finish stainless steel band — a slim ring at the base matching the Chester coffee table and range.
Side table or bedside — 60cm high suits sofa arms and mattress heights alike.
Delivered as a top and a base — the stone top and walnut-finish drum arrive separately and are brought together in place.

Care
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry; use coasters and wipe spills promptly. Sintered stone resists heat, scratches and staining, but avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners.

Complete the set with the matching Chester Fluted Round Coffee Table and Chester Fluted Console Table.
Yes. At 60cm high it suits beds with a mattress top around 55 to 65cm, and a pair either side gives the bedroom symmetry without the bulk of two cabinets. The 50cm top takes a lamp and a glass comfortably.
Arms between about 55 and 65cm — the table lands at arm height, so a drink is set down without reaching and a lamp sits at reading height.
No harder than marble. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry, use coasters, wipe spills promptly, and keep acidic or abrasive cleaners away from the stone. Travertine's natural pitting and colour variation are part of the material, not a fault.
The travertine top and the walnut drum arrive as separate pieces and are brought together in place. Metropolitan Melbourne and Sydney delivery is calculated at checkout, typically within 7 business days once in stock. Regional and interstate delivery is also available, calculated at checkout.

Material & Care Guide
◆ Materials — Dining Tables
|
Tabletop options (varies by model): · Sintered stone: Ultra-durable compressed mineral surface — scratch, heat, and stain resistant. · Marble: Natural stone with unique veining — each piece is one of a kind. · Tempered glass: Safety glass that is significantly stronger than standard glass. · Timber veneer or MDF with lacquer finish: Warm, natural aesthetic with a durable surface coating. Base: Powder-coated steel, stainless steel, or solid timber in your selected finish. |
◆ Materials — Dining Chairs
|
Upholstery: Velvet, fabric, vegan leather, or boucle seating pad (varies by model). Frame: Solid timber, powder-coated metal, or stainless steel frame and legs. Cushioning: High-density foam seating for comfort during long dining occasions. |
◆ Care Instructions — Dining Tables
|
Sintered stone & marble: Wipe spills immediately, especially acidic liquids (wine, citrus, coffee) which can etch natural surfaces. Clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and warm water. Use coasters and trivets at all times. Avoid bleach and abrasive cleaners. Tempered glass: Spray glass cleaner onto a lint-free cloth — never directly on the glass. Avoid abrasive pads and steel wool. Timber/MDF: Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Use coasters and placemats to prevent surface marks. |
◆ Care Instructions — Dining Chairs
|
Spot clean upholstered seats with a damp cloth and mild detergent — blot, do not rub. For velvet dining chairs: vacuum with soft brush attachment. Steam lightly to restore pile. Wipe timber or metal frames with a dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid dragging chairs across hard floors — lift to move or use felt floor protectors on legs. Tighten all screws every 6 months to maintain structural stability. |
