A square base drawn straight up into a column — the Cypress Vase reads as architecture before it reads as a vase.
Ceramic, with a flat square footprint of 16cm on the large and 14.5cm on the small, so it sits flush on a timber console or a stone bench without rocking. Straight sides catch light on four separate faces rather than wrapping it around a curve, which is why the black looks close to graphite on the lit face and near-flat on the shaded one.
Two heights, two colourways. The pair can be run in matching tone at different heights, or in opposing tone at the same height.
The 31cm suits a console of 100–140cm, set off-centre with the space beside it left empty; at that height it clears the base of most table lamps and still reads from across a room. The 24cm belongs on a dining table — low enough that seated guests can see over it, which a 31cm vase on a standard 75cm table will not allow.
The mouth is narrow relative to the body, so three to five upright stems — eucalyptus, pussy willow, bare branches — will stand where they are placed rather than fanning open. A dense round arrangement fights the column; give that to a wider vessel. When grouping, use odd numbers and mix the two heights: two 31cm and one 24cm on a mantel gives a staggered top line that a matched pair never will.
White is the quieter of the two and recedes against a pale wall, so it adds height without putting another dark object into the sightline. Black does the opposite — it holds a corner and anchors a shelf otherwise full of books and small objects. Between the sizes the footprint drops only 1.5cm while the height drops 6.5cm, so the small reads as genuinely stockier rather than as a shrunken copy of the large.

Care
Dust with a dry soft cloth. Wipe marks with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately. No abrasive cleaners.
The large measures 16 x 16 x 31cm. The small measures 14.5 x 14.5 x 24.5cm and is listed as 24cm. Both share the same square base and straight-sided column.
Only in colour. Form, dimensions and material are identical across both, so the two can be grouped together without the profile changing.
Ceramic.
Ceramic vases of this type are best used with a glass or plastic liner, or checked for a sealed base before filling. For a timber or stone surface, a liner is the safer choice — otherwise use it for dried stems or leave it empty.
The mouth is narrow relative to the body, so three to five upright stems sit better than a wide arrangement. Branches, eucalyptus and single tall stems hold their position.
Dust with a dry soft cloth. For marks, wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads.

Fitting: E27 bulb fitting compatible with standard Australian bulbs. Bulb not included unless stated. Cord: Fabric-wrapped or standard PVC power cord with Australian plug. |

|
Construction: Ceramic, glass, resin, or metal depending on the individual piece. Finish: Hand-glazed, lacquered, or hand-painted — minor natural variations are characteristic of artisan production. Note: Decorative items. Not all pieces are food-safe or waterproof internally — use a liner for flower arrangements. |
◆ Materials — Artificial Plants & Planters
|
Foliage: High-quality silk or polyester artificial foliage — UV-treated for indoor use. Planter: Ceramic, resin, rattan, or metal planter (varies by product). Note: Artificial plants require no watering and are suitable for low-light areas where live plants would not thrive. |
◆ Care Instructions — All Decor & Accessories
|
Dust all decorative items regularly with a soft dry cloth or fine duster. For glass and ceramic pieces: wipe with a lightly dampened microfibre cloth. Dry immediately. For lamps: switch off and allow to cool before cleaning. Wipe base with a dry cloth. Vacuum fabric shades with a brush attachment. For candle holders: remove wax residue with warm water before it sets fully. Avoid submerging in water. For artificial plants: dust foliage with a dry cloth or use a hairdryer on a cool, low setting. Wipe planters with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, and excessive moisture on all décor items. Display away from direct sunlight to preserve colour and finish over time. |
