Operate the gas lift mechanism by lifting from the foot-end of the mattress platform — lift slowly and smoothly. Do not overload the storage base beyond its recommended capacity (refer to product specifications). Do not force the lid closed — allow the gas struts to guide it down gently. Spot clean the upholstered headboard with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Blot — never rub. Tighten all frame bolts every 6 months to maintain stability. Avoid storing heavy, sharp, or damp items in the under-bed compartment. Keep the gas struts clear of moisture and lubricants — they are factory-sealed for the life of the product. |
