Boucle is the loop-pile fabric that makes a room feel softer without changing a single colour.

Our boucle range is small and coherent: two boucle dining chair designs sold as a set of 2, in beige, black and grey, and a boucle electric modular lounge in beige or grey with reclining seats. The chairs are made to pair with a stone dining table, where the texture reads against the hard top; the lounge is the room's softest surface and its most-used seat.

Boucle sits naturally with cream, oatmeal and pale timber, and with black metal frames where a little contrast is wanted. It is a fabric that shows its texture in raking light, so it suits rooms with a window to the side rather than straight-on.

Living with boucle

Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and never pull a loop — trim a snag with scissors. Blot spills rather than rubbing, and rotate loose cushions so the pile wears evenly. Boucle chairs suit a dining room more than a kitchen table that sees daily crumbs; for a hard-working kitchen, our vegan leather dining chairs are the easier clean.
