Spot clean the headboard with a lightly dampened cloth and mild detergent — blot, do not rub. For velvet headboards: vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove dust. Steam lightly to restore pile if flattened. Avoid moisture, staining agents, and harsh cleaners near the upholstered headboard. Tighten all frame bolts every 6 months to maintain structural integrity. Do not stand or jump on the bed frame slats — this may cause cracking or warping. Protect the slat base by using a quality mattress — do not place weight directly on slats without a mattress. Wipe metal or timber legs with a dry cloth to remove dust. |
