This is the full dining table range. Round dining tables in marble or sintered stone on a sculptural base; an oval fluted dining table in travertine or marble that avoids the hard corners; and rectangle dining tables in marble and glass for the long Sunday lunch. Bases are fluted stone, polished steel or metal in black, gold, silver and white, so the table can match either the chairs or the tapware.

Round, oval or rectangle: choosing a dining table shape

A round dining table suits square rooms and conversation — everyone faces everyone. As a guide, a 120–135cm diameter is a round dining table for 4, and 140–150cm is a round dining table for 6 with slimmer chairs. A 4 seater dining table in a rectangle needs about 120 × 80cm; a 6 seater dining table needs 160–180cm long; an 8 seater, 220cm or more. Oval gives you rectangle capacity with round-table flow, and is the safest choice beside a walkway. Whatever the shape, leave 90cm from the table edge to the wall or the next piece so chairs pull out fully. Check the dimensions on each product page against your room before choosing.
