Collection: Black Console Tables

A black console table anchors an entryway before anything else is on the wall.

This is the black edit of our console table range: black powder-coated metal frames under marble or sintered stone tops, fluted black bases, and modern console tables that pair a black frame with a white or gold-veined stone console table top. Every marble top console table here is natural or sintered stone. Each is between 30 and 45cm deep, so it sits in a standard hallway without narrowing the walkway, and around 75–80cm high — the right proportion for a mirror hung above.

Black consoles suit homes with dark tapware, black window frames and contemporary joinery. Against a white wall the frame reads as a clean line; against a dark wall, choose one with a white marble top so the surface still catches the light.

Styling a black console table

Hang a mirror about two thirds the width of the table, its bottom edge 15–20cm above the surface. A gold mirror above a black console is the classic warm-cool pairing; a black arch mirror keeps the palette monochrome. On the surface, work in odd numbers: a tall vase, a lamp, a low tray.
