A tallboy for the narrow wall, a dresser for the wide one.

This range holds every bedroom dresser and tallboy we stock. Choose between a low, wide dresser with six chest drawers and a mirror above, or a tallboy dresser that takes five tallboy drawers up a narrow wall and leaves floor space for a bedside. Finishes include fluted timber in black, white and gold detailing, herringbone messmate on a floating base, marble-topped drawers, and a painted white tallboy and dresser in the Hamptons style for coastal bedrooms.

Several designs are made as a matching pair — the same drawer fronts on a dresser and a tallboy — so a whole bedroom can be furnished in one finish. The Hamptons and herringbone ranges also extend to a matching bed frame and bedside table.

Dresser or tallboy: which drawers do you need?

A dresser is typically 120–160cm wide and around 80cm high, giving you a surface for a mirror, lamp or tray. A tallboy is 50–70cm wide and 110–130cm high, storing the same volume in a smaller footprint. In a main bedroom, use both; in a guest room or a child's room, a single tallboy is usually enough. Leave at least 90cm in front of the drawers so they open fully.
