Two pears drawn to deliberately different proportions — one low and round, one tall and slender — made to be shown together.
White with gold detailing, in the pared-back pear silhouette that has been a still-life shape for four hundred years: a full curved body narrowing to a short stem. On a shelf it reads as a single quiet form rather than an ornament competing for attention.
The two sizes are not scaled copies of one another. The Small is the wide one — 14 x 14cm at its widest, 17.5cm high. The Large is the tall one — 19.5cm high on a narrower 11 x 11cm base. So the Large is 2cm taller but 3cm slimmer, and the contrast between the squat body and the drawn-out one is the reason to own both.
On a coffee table of 110–130cm, group the pair on a tray of 30–35cm. Side by side they take up about 25cm of width plus a finger-width gap, so roughly 30cm of tray — which still leaves two-thirds of the table surface clear for cups and books. That ratio is what keeps a coffee table styled rather than covered.
On a console or sideboard at the usual 75–80cm height, the pair lands just below eye level for anyone seated nearby and at hand height for anyone standing — close enough to be picked up, which is how these objects are meant to be encountered. On open shelving, most shelf openings run 30–35cm; the 19.5cm Large leaves 10–15cm of air above it, which is the gap that stops a bookshelf looking packed.
Both sizes clear a dining table sightline easily. Anything under about 35cm lets people see across the table, so the pair can live permanently on a dining table alongside a low bowl without being moved for every meal.
Worth being plain about this, because the names are counter-intuitive: the Large is the taller, narrower pear and the Small is the shorter, wider one. Buy by the dimensions rather than the label if you only want one. If you want a visible step in height across a vignette, the pair alone will not give it to you — there is only 2cm between them, so they read as a matched set rather than a graduated group. Add a third element with real height difference, a 25–30cm vase or a lamp, and let the pears sit as the low pair at its base.

Small: 14 x 14 x 17.5cm (W x D x H). Large: 11 x 11 x 19.5cm (W x D x H).
Because they are different proportions rather than two scales of the same shape. The Large is the tall, slender pear — 19.5cm high on an 11cm base. The Small is the shorter, wider one — 17.5cm high on a 14cm base. This is intentional, and it is why the two work well displayed together.
No — each size is sold individually. Choose Small or Large, or buy one of each if you want the contrast between the two profiles.
White with gold detailing.
On a coffee table of 110–130cm grouped on a 30–35cm tray; on a console or sideboard at 75–80cm height; or on open shelving, where the 19.5cm Large leaves 10–15cm of clear air in a typical 30–35cm shelf opening. Both sizes sit under the 35cm dining-table sightline, so they can stay on a dining table permanently.
Only a slight one — there is just 2cm between them, so they read as a matched pair rather than a graduated group. For a real height difference, add a 25–30cm vase or a lamp and let the pears sit low at the base.

Dust all decorative items regularly with a soft dry cloth or fine duster. For glass and ceramic pieces: wipe with a lightly dampened microfibre cloth. Dry immediately. For lamps: switch off and allow to cool before cleaning. Wipe base with a dry cloth. Vacuum fabric shades with a brush attachment. For candle holders: remove wax residue with warm water before it sets fully. Avoid submerging in water. For artificial plants: dust foliage with a dry cloth or use a hairdryer on a cool, low setting. Wipe planters with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, and excessive moisture on all décor items. Display away from direct sunlight to preserve colour and finish over time. |
