Velvet Lounges & Sofas

Material & Care Guide

  MATERIALS

Upholstery: Premium velvet fabric — soft to the touch with a rich, light-catching finish that elevates any room.

Frame: Kiln-dried solid hardwood for structural integrity and long-term durability.

Cushioning: High-density foam wrapped in fibre for superior comfort that holds its shape over time.

Legs: Solid timber or powder-coated metal in your selected finish (varies by model).

Filling: Foam and fibre blend for that perfectly plump, hotel-suite aesthetic.

  CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment weekly to remove dust and prevent fibre matting.

Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth — do not rub, as this can spread the stain and crush the pile.

For deeper cleaning, use a water-based upholstery cleaner applied sparingly. Always test on a hidden area first.

To restore the pile after flattening, hold a garment steamer 10–15cm from the surface, then brush lightly with a soft cloth.

Rotate cushions regularly to ensure even wear and maintain their shape.

Avoid placing velvet furniture in direct sunlight — prolonged exposure will cause fading over time.

Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended every 12–18 months for high-use pieces.
